Staff and Volunteers
Sharon Parmenter, "Teacher Sharon," is our chimes teacher. She has been teaching chimes at Countryside Christian School for 7 years. She comes on Tuesday afternoons. The students perform 4-5 times a year at different school/church programs, and at nursing homes. Teacher Sharon is a talented musician and we are lucky to have her. She plays the harp and the piano. She also has a wonderful singing voice.
Ione Hernandez, "Mrs. H," fixes a hot lunch on Tuesdays for the students. The cost is $5 per person, but it is well worth it. Mrs. H has many years of experience cooking for students. She changes her menus according to what the students enjoy and she also accommodates any dietary restrictions. The students look forward to Tuesday's hot lunches. We are so lucky to have Mrs. H cooking for us.
I love my school because I learn about new things. I love my school because I get to play and talk with my friends. I love my school because I write stories.---6th grader
